Jeff Street specializes in the defense of physicians and healthcare professionals in medical malpractice litigation. Jeff received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1983 and his law degree from Lewis & Clark College, Northwestern School of Law in 1986. He is an active member of the Oregon and Washington state bar associations and is admitted to all Federal and state courts in both jurisdictions.
Jeff has been an invited speaker for many organizations including the Oregon Medical Association, Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and Oregon Society for Healthcare Risk Management. He has also been an instructor for the Oregon Health and Science University Law and Medicine Class.
Jeff has held a variety of leadership positions, serving as President of four different non-profit organizations. He has also been active for many years as a youth coach and mentor. In his free time, Jeff enjoys family trips, fishing, boating and any type of outdoor adventure.
Jeff was recently inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and has also been recognized as an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been selected as one of Portland's Best Attorneys every year from 2008 to the present. In 2016 Jeff was selected Medical Malpractice Defense Lawyer of the year for Portland, Oregon. Throughout his career, Jeff has taken several hundred cases to trial or arbitration and serves as managing partner of Hodgkinson Street Mepham, LLC.
